My Life

My life is pretty simple but it has had its up and downs. I get along well with my family. I am always biking. I rock out to music a lot. I hang out with my friends a lot. We just walk around everywhere.

Zach's Lie

The book I am reading in silent reading is about this kid Zach and his father had lied to the family. They had to move away and change their names. I don't really like it because the book is confusing. His dads attorney is a crooked attorney. It is hard to tell which side he is on because he is telling two different stories.

Whatever you want

My day yesterday was pretty interesting because my dad had surgery. We had to be at the hospital at 6:45am and we didn't get home until 2:45pm. I couldn't go see my dad because I wasn't 18 which made me upset because I really wanted to see my dad after his surgery. I had to wait in the waiting room. There was nobody else in the room. I had like 7 big cups of coffee and all the nurses and doctor people kept asking me if I wanted some food or a soda but I told them no because I didn't want to take other peoples food. Yesterday was a long day...

Discriptive Writing

Biking because it gets your adrenaline going. You can get some air. You can to tricks on the bike that are technical. I like having the feeling of not knowing if going to land your next trick. I like speed you can get when you downhill while pedaling and the wind is blowing in your face. I like feeling like I have no control while I'm going through mid air.

I think he wrote it because it was something he experienced when he was younger. I think the author wrote it because people could understand what he went through. I thought the poem was ok because I'm used to reading poems that rhyme.

Song I like...Seether-Truth

What I think the topic is on the song I like is that he is different from everybody else and he is trying to hide it. I think the main idea for the song is that he is trying to hide himself. The theme of this song is that he is not human. He is more than human and he is hiding from everybody else.

Why do you think people write poetry?

I think people write poetry because they don't know how to express their feelings any other way or they like the way that it sounds. I think also people write poetry for reputation because I heard when rappers have rap battle the one who wins gets more reputation.

What is a family tradition in your family that you really enjoy?

Our family tradition is that every Christmas and Thanksgiving we go to my grandpas house. We decorate the house and take pictures. On Christmas eve we sing my grandma happy birthday and we sing Christmas carols with my grandpa. I usually go outside and help my uncle put up Christmas lights. On Thanksgiving we all participate in the cooking and it is usually chaos.

Intense Football Game

Me and my friends played this football game that went from just playing around to a full on real intense game. The score was tied for most of the game no body wanted the other team to get a touchdown. It was like 3rd quarter and we were on our 4th down I fake threw and pass and handed it off to my friend and then he ran towards the end zone right when he was about to get tackled he threw the ball back at me and I caught the ball then I ran for the end zone and I was about to get tackled so I jumped for the end zone but I got tackled in mid air and hit a bike that was in the way and tore my pants on the leg. On the next play my friend was quarterback and I went to tackle and I did and in the process of doing that I accidentally broke his collar bone.

Emergency Situation

An emergency situation that I have been in is when my little brother split his head open and we had to go to the hospital to have staples put in his head. He had fallen and hit his head on the bricks around our old wood stove. He had hit the center of his head on the corner. There was blood everywhere . He didn't cry until we got to the hospital.

Place I never want to go again

I never want to go back to juvee because it was really scary and cold. I was there for the wrong reason. I got accused of something that I didn't do. I didn't eat when I was in there and I never used the restroom. I was only in there for 24 hours.

Where is the place you consider home the most?

The places that I consider home is my home with my mom and dad. The other place I consider my home is my grandpa's house because I lived there for a year and he told me that could be my home if I wanted it to be. My 1st home to me means a lot because my parents live there and they have always been there for me no matter what. My 2nd home means a lot too because my grandpa said if my parents died or I needed somewhere to go I could go there.

What do you remember about September 11th?

What I remember about September 11th is that I was getting ready for school and I was watching the news and I saw a plane crash into a building. Then I yelled for my mom to come look and she said "Oh My Gosh" and then she told me that those towers that the planes crashed into were the World Trade Center. Then I asked what that was and she explained it to me. After she explained it to me she took me to school. At school we talked about it in every class and we had to draw how we thought they did it, or we had to write why we think they did it.

If I could go any place in the world?

If I could go any place in the world it would be the Autobaun in Germany. I would go there because there is no speed limit and there is no cops. I think it would be warm maybe cold. The Autobaun goes with the curve of the earth and it is one long straight. In World War 2 it was used for Hitler's runway for the airplanes. I would also go to the New Orleans Saints football stadium

If I could I would try to save some of my clothes and bedding. I would probably miss my drawings and my stuff that was given to me from my grandpa. I would also try to save our kitten (Bagera). I would try to save some of my little brothers clothes and bedding. I would try to get some food so that we could have something to eat.

What does dedication mean in your life?

Dedication to me in my life is biking, football, education, family. Biking because I wanna be really good. Football because I want to play for the NFL and make a career out of it. Education because I wanna finish school. If the football doesn't get anywhere I would have education to go back on so that I can get a job. Last but certainly not least family because no matter what they will always be there for me.

What's your favorite type of food? ~PIZZA~

My most favorite food is meat lovers pizza because it has a lot of flavors. I like the pizza sauce oozes out of the pizza. I like to get the biggest slice. I like it from Pizza Hut. I always order with extra cheese and meat. I like also when the pizza has cheese in the crust. I can eat half a pizza to myself. I think the pizza is perfect when you take a bite and the cheese stretched from the pizza to your mouth. I like to add a little bit of spiciness to it. I put a little bit of diced up jalapenos.

If you could have any job in the world what would it be?

If I were to have any job in the world in would be to play for New Orleans Saints or the Oakland Raiders. I would want to play football because it's my favorite sport and it is very athletic sport.

Which family member is the importaunt.

The most important person in my family to me is my grandpa. My grandpa has been there for me my whole life. He is stubborn when it comes down to making decisions , but he has a good heart. He told me that he would always be there for me no matter what. My grandpa told me if I need somewhere to stay he said I could stay with him.

What role do you think parents and grandparents play in kids lives?

I think parents and grandparents should play a big role in kids lives because they have more than one person person to look up to. They could get history from their grandparents. They could also listen to their parents about what life was like for them and then listen to their grandparents about what life was like for them when they were kids. Kids also should be a part of their grandparents lives because some kids don't have grandparents.

2. The United States almost has the most amount of people with obesity.
3. The age ratio is sad because ten year olds are obese.

What is your favorite type of music?

My favorite type of music is metal and punk. I like it because the people that play the instruments have talent. It makes me feel free and that I am capable of doing anything. I also like it because it is loud. The music express how my feelings are sometimes.

Obama Clip - Opinions

I really enjoyed the speech. He was very encouraging and I liked how he explained what he went through. He said that no matter what you should never stop trying, never give up. He was very informational about education. He said that if you want to get a good job, you shouldn't give up on school.

What is your favorite thing to do with your spare time?

I like to bike around and try new tricks with my cousin. I also like to draw and listen to music. I try to practice biking everyday.I am trying to get good in biking so that I can get a sponser. I like to draw clowns and jesters. My family supports biking and they believe that if I keep practicing I could get somewhere. With my drawings my dad thinks I should become a tattoo artist. I have drawn my uncles tattoo and my dads next tattoo. I am working on drawing my tattoo for when I am older.

Tell me something interesting about your summer

What I did last summer was went biking around my house and used my kickers to jump off of. I also went to my grandpa's house and jumped off a huge steep hill with my kickers. I jumped higher than my car and I jumped over my little brother. Later on during the summer I went to Santiam Trails which is a bmx park. I was jumping and doing transfers nice and smooth. Then my friend dared me to go off the pro set of jump and I had gone off a huge jump and I was at least 20ft in the air and I landed it sketchy. I took another jump I was in the air about the same height maybe be a little higher and I lost control of my bike and crashed. I bent my handle bars inward and broke my rear tire and I broke my crank.

Summer Plans :)

My summer plans are to read all the books that I had chosen and I am going to hang out with my sisters. I am also getting a piercing too. I am getting my lip pierced because two of my sisters have theirs done. I will probably bike around my complex because I can't really go any where else right now. Some of my family might come down to see us also. I have a job doing yard work. I am going to buy new bike also, a haro X3. It is all green. Every part except the tires are green.

Like Family ~ Jon

The person in my family that is like an older brother to me is Jon. He came into my life when I was born. He is one of my mom's best friends. Even though he moved to Lebanon we still talk. We are really close. At his wedding he made me his first groomsman. When he told me that he made me his first groomsman that meant a lot to me. When he used to live at my grandparents he used to take me to drive his classic truck and he used to let me drive also. He is going to come down to visit soon to help me build a go kart and to hang out like old times.

Evaluate

The best about this book is that Lily knows exactly what she is doing. She knows that it's best that she needs to stay away from T-Ray. Lily knows that if she goes back she will get into trouble from T-Ray and the police for stealing Rosaleen.

The worst thing about this book is that Lily stole Rosaleen from that police and ran away with her. Also Lily has lied to everbody about what she is doing and her name.

Describe Character: Augest

She is a mother figure to everybody in the house and she can see everybody's point of view. She is kind of like the house counselor because she listens to everybody's arguing. She tries to help everybody get along. She is a down to earth kind of women. She doesn't like to hurt anything. She gives everything love and respect. She is a good teacher to Lily with the bees. She tells her what to do step by step and understands that not everybody gets it on the first try.

Weekend

I didn't really do anything I just hung out with my older brother. My brother and I played catch and played games. My dad and brother watched me bike around and practice my tricks on my bike. They kept laughing at me because I kept falling when I tried to do a tail whip but I finally landed it. I also called family about my great grandma passing away on Thursday. We are having a gravesite thing on Friday for her death.

Opinion: Secret Life Of Bees

I think that this book is a good book because it gives detail so that you understand the characters from their point of view. The book also gives you good details about the civil rights movement when it was just starting and the new law that passed. The author helps you understand what Lily is going through. The author help you understand what life was like back then.

Who do you think the queen bee is in the story : Augest

I think that Augest is the queen bee in the story because she keeps everybody in line. She is in charge and everybody listens to her. She makes sure that everbody is happy and not upset over each other. She plays the mother role in the house. That why I think she plays the queen bee.

Describe A Setting: My Room

My room has a California king bed in it. My dresser is all black and has my t.v. and my PlayStation 2 next to it with my DVD player underneath my t.v. My art table is on the left of my dresser. My room has posters all over it and my posters are mainly of b.m.x and dirt bikes. My floor is tile so I have to sweep a lot. My room is almost never dirty because I try to keep it clean. I used to keep my bike in my room but then my brother came down to visit so I had to clean a lot and make room for a lot of his stuff. I had bike frame holders so that I had my bike on so it could have been out of the way. It would have been like a wall ornament.

My plan for the weekend is to hang out with my older brother. We have planned to play games and he is going to go down and hang out with me while I bike (bmx). We are going to make me a sponsor video. We are going to go all over Salem and Keizer. He has helped with almost everything on my bike when it needed to be fixed. Eventually he is going to help me paint my bike because right now it is completely black, which is alright for now.

• She could have played like she got hurt also so then it would have been easier for them to get out of the hospital.

T.Ray- Stubborn , Angry, Mean, Tough, Demanding.

T.Ray-Really demanding always seems to be angry. Never likes it when his wife is brought up and treats everybody with little to no respect. He never shows his soft side. He tries to hide his feelings. Has a major attitude problem. He doesn't like people to bug him because he just like to be left alone.

Sentence Combining

Little Rock is in the relatively progressive southern part of Arkansas.

The Governor of Arkansas Orval Faubus had to call the National Guard because of a crisis and the they had to prevent kids from going to school at Little Rock Central High School on September 4.

They're excellent grades help them to get chosen at Central High.

Everyone got a phone call about the danger at the school except for one who showed up to the school.

She was outside of the school and got harrassed by whites and the police had to protect her so they took her away in a patrol car.

The nine students had to be carpooled/escorted by military personals and they had to be taken away in jeeps.

Sue Monk Kidd was born on August 12,1948. She is from Sylvester,Georgia. She had gone to and graduated from Texas Christian University. One of her other books is God's Joyful Surprise, but her first novel was The Secret Life of Bees. Her next after the Secret Life of Bees is The Mermaid Chair. One of Sue Monk Kidd's books were translated into different languges.

Civil Rights Movement

There were Civil Rights Movements in 1950 and 1980. It was a rebellious stage. Northern Ireland had brought alot if violence.





The American Civil Rights Movement was in 1955-1968. It was about the racial discrimination against African Americans. The civil rights was a suffrage for the south. Most the people in the civil rights movement were part of NAACP programs. The suffrage was also when the blacks were trying to get there rights back.

It was the middle of the night

It was the middle of the night and suddenly I remembered I had to take the dog out. It was a little past midnight so I had to take a flashlight. It was cold , icy,and slippery. It was hard to walk around. Even the dog had a hard time walking around.The wind felt like a bunch of needles poking my face. My hands and feet got numb from the cold weather.
